Lake Champlain – 2 Day Team Tourney results – Aug 12 & 13, 2023

The long-awaited Lake Champlain team tournament took place this last weekend in Ticonderoga NY.  Seven teams took the journey for this two-day event and while the weather was cooperative locating bass wasn’t easy, especially in the lower portion of the lake having a milky tinge color to the water.

No team reach their sixteen fish creel for two days showed how tough it was to hook into them.

Congratulations to the team of Dekraii and Moore for their first-place finish with a two-day total of 31.92 lb. All of their 14 fish were smallmouth.

All anglers agreed that this was a hard fight to the finish but it was a close race.  Only 1.19 lbs separated the top three places. Those getaways do make a difference for sure.  Off to the next one.
