MVBM kicked off its 35th season at the popular Nashua River in Groton. Just like a lot of the starts we’ve seen here over the years its the Brabant father and son duo once again taking first place in this one. Overcast with rain and moderate wind didn’t prohibit the Brabants and others from bagging their eight fish creel. Even though this writer wasn’t present there I’m sure the frog bite may have been successful once again for the Brabant team.
The lunker of the day went to the team of Dekraai/Moore with a 3.91lb largemouth. Thirteen teams participated in this tournament all but two teams weighed in at the scales.
