MBVM members returned again for the second time with back to back tournaments at Barehill Pond in Harvard MA.. With cooperating weather, sunny and clear skies, with early light winds… thirteen teams participated in this popular body of water. The Cyr/Carigan took first place with a total of 21.12 lb with their eight fish limit. […]
Fifteen teams came out to the popular waterhole at Barehill Pond in Harvard Ma. Most teams brought in their eight fish creels on a clear and summer like day. With air temperatures in the mid to upper 80’s, 118 total largemouths were caught by club anglers. The first place team was Brad Dekraai and Jeff […]
Due to low waters at Big Island Pond this venue for this tournament was rescheduled to the Nashua River in NH. Once again the Brabant team took advantage of their knowledge of these waters and took first place. With average air temperatures hovering in the mid forties with brisk to moderate winds ten teams out […]
MVBM kicked off its 35th season at the popular Nashua River in Groton. Just like a lot of the starts we’ve seen here over the years its the Brabant father and son duo once again taking first place in this one. Overcast with rain and moderate wind didn’t prohibit the Brabants and others from bagging […]
This being the last scheduled tournament of the year you can sum this one up with a big “ouch.” While 17 anglers participated, only 6 anglers came to the scales with fish. The weather didn’t help with fog and overcast with mist and rain and air temps in the low 50’s. But all tournaments have […]
A great turnout for this popular bass tournament seeing 14 teams participating. Clear skies with cool temperatures brought challenges to some but not for the first-place team Witkowski team. An eight fish creel with a weight of 14.34 lb was the leader at the scales and the lunker of the day was caught by the […]
A thick fog covered the lake early morning giving way to a partly sunny day with temps in the mid 60’s. Only four teams participated in this event with the team of Titus and Robertson taking the win. Congratulations!
Congratulations to the first place team of Goss and Campisi with their 18.11 lb creel . Close second was had by the team Dekraai and Moore. Appears by the scoreboard that the largemouth were somewhat elusive in this one as the majority of fish caught were smallmouth.
Nine teams participated in this one and all came to the scales with fish. Three teams met their creel limits and the lunker of the day was a 5.81 lb largemouth by Ivan Sullivan. Congratulations to the team of Goss and Campisi for their first place win.
